symphonies in my head

I experienced heart palpitations when I purchased this top that day from a store called Pond in Mosman. It's bloody Pierre Balmain (and you can't see it but it has it printed across the front) and it's bloody awesomeness is incomprehendable. It's baggy, it's cool and it's just basically badass (and it was on sale - bonus!). I could not be happier.

It was a chilled day with shopping in Mosman, delicious lunch at Pasta Zu and strolling round Balmoral beach. 

Sidenote: I apologise for like the only outfit posts on the blog from my holiday being selfies - i'll make it up to you xx

don't you know i'm human too

Finally getting on top of all my holiday posts! This was how I spent the first day of 2014 - shopping in the city, strolling round Paddington and having dinner at The Rocks. 

I bought this awesome mesh Camilla and Marc jacket in DJs, it's just the right mix of street lad and Chanel haha. I also was obsessing over this cute little store in Paddington (amongst all the other gems). To end the day I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Appetito (I think that's what it was called), an Italian at The Rocks which had the coolest layout and coolest atmosphere. It was in like a 3 story terrace with tables on every level and not the mention amazing food. This desert was awesome with crepes and brownies and vanilla bean ice-cream with milk chocolate sauce and ah, perfecto! - time spent a little alternative to the masses hitting the gyms for their new years resolutions.

NYE

I haven't had as much time to post as I had thought but I promise to update you all on the last few days tonight! Here are some snaps from NYE that I spent in the city. It was a long day waiting around but it was definitely worth it - the blasting music and deafening fireworks were paired with great vibes of enthusiasm and excitement - the perfect way to start off 2014. 

Ps. I was really intrigued by the prints pictured "How will you react?" - they definitely caught my eye on the stroll down to the harbour - I thought they were awesome!

time will tell

I'm currently blogging from the Executive Lounge at the Hilton, sipping on frothy tea and planning today's adventure with my Mother. We're thinking morning manicures, lunch at Mosman and maybe a shop in Paddington? The day will tell. 

These shots are from our first day here in Sydney (Monday). The selfies in the best selfie mirror ever, the awesome view from our room, the beautiful Strand Arcade, an amazing drawer, the very pretty wallpaper in the fitting rooms at General Pants Co. at Martin Place, and the most delicious toffee soufflé in the world. 

I'm a bit behind on posting as I have so many photos to share! I'll most likely post again tonight to tell you all about my NYE adventures. 

I'm off now to pick up my wallets and diary from Louis Vuitton that I had stamped with H.L :)
