sunny sunday

The central coast was looking magnificent today and it was a bit of fun to get some wear out of the greatest glasses of all time.

Today Kiah and I popped down to the Avoca Beach Markets for a bit of strolling and some scouring for treasures at Oh Deer Boutique (we were successful haha). I bought a gorgeous top that i'll have to show in another post, Kiah bought some adorable tops and we both bought some new sunnies :) After we'd looked around for a while we convinced Jason to come and pick us up and take us to Terrigal, where the three of us had lunch at Harrisons (where I had the most amazing satay chicken sandwich). After we'd filled ourselves up we went for a walk to one of Terrigal's lookouts which are always beautiful, but on a day like today - it was truly spectacular. Here we laughed and snapped some cheesy shots of each other, admiring the beautiful waters the Central Coast has to offer. After I met the mother at Aromas and we shared a delicious mango sorbet. Terrigal is honestly like no other place in the world and i'm so happy to call it my home.

I wore a really casual outfit today, fit for the days activities. Still staying true to my usual black attire, I was happy to get some wear out of my beautiful House of Holland sunnies.

Wearing: ST&ARD (@ General Pants) shorts // Country Road top and bag // Nike sneakers // House of Holland Eyewear sunnies // Dallas and Carlos cuff and necklace // D&G watch // Lovisa, Pandora and Antique rings

spontaneity

Finally an outfit post! as well as some snaps from today's outing.

I happily got to wear one of my new awesome baller tees and I think it worked quite well for a laid back look on a sunny saturday. Jason picked me up today and we headed up to Tuggerah for lunch at the Coffee Club - for literally the best sandwich of all time. We got bored of the shops quite quickly so we decided on a spontaneous drive to Crackneck Lookout where i'd never been before but Jason wouldn't quit raving about it. It truly was a beautiful sight. We snapped some quick shots there and watched a parasailer (I think that's what they're called) take off next to us… it was pretty cool haha.

So all in all it was a lovely day spent with Jason.

Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather as I am.

Closer than Close

As promised, these are my photos i'm submitting for my art project tomorrow. The theme was 'representations of the body' and this is what I have come up with.

Closer than Close

It is what exists internally, the traits, that directly influence your life. The body is merely the host to these characteristics. Through the body we can symbolise the importance of our actions and how they influence other's lives. I photographed four of the most influential people in my life - photographing the part of the body that symbolises how they have shaped who I am today. To them, I would like to say thank you.

Thankyou for being the strong one and for always keeping me grounded.
Thankyou for injecting laughter into my life and advising me on all situations.
Thankyou for being my shoulder to cry on and providing your endless support.
Thankyou for always offering your assistance and guiding me through my life.

good as gold

2 months ago I ordered the Diana Mini F+ in gold (along with a 35mm film kit) from lomography.com and have been anxiously awaiting it’s arrival since.

Needless to say, it arrived today!! and I could honestly not be happier, it is so beyond beautiful :’) I took it out for a quick spin round my acreage and it is a dream. I can’t wait to finish this current role and get it developed.

This little gem does so much for it’s size. Personally I like the feature of choice between square or double framed rectangle images. It sure is a little pocket rocket.
Shooting with film is such a breath of fresh air from the digital world, and doing it so stylishly is such a plus.

Once I get my images back from the lab i’ll be sure to post them on here.
Until then, you’ll see me with this permanently around my neck - taking photos of everything!!

natural beauty

These are just some quick photos I took on an adventure around the grounds of my school with Jason for art. Sometimes I feel like my school is more an extraordinary and immaculately-kept garden rather than an education service. The grounds sure are beautiful though :)
